Members of the University of Portsmouth and Brighton are coming to France for a few days. Indeed, all the partners of the RedPol Project will meet at the University of Caen, from Wednesday 15 June to Friday 17 June.
This meeting will be the occasion for the partners to review the research and results already obtained since the beginning of the project but also, the opportunity to exchange around the different objectives of the project for the future months.
During these 3 days, different members of the project will present conferences on their work. Sylvain Slaby, member of the University of Le Havre, will speak about “In vitro oestrogenic testing using sea bass oestrogen receptors” and Alex Ford, member of the University of Portsmouth, will speak about “Development of bioassays for the effects of emerging EDCs on the behaviour of marine amphipods”.
After many months of long-distance conversations, this meeting is an opportunity for all the members of the project to get together before the symposium planned in Chichester Harbour in a few months’ time, but also to highlight all the work carried out by the teams over the last few months.
